In Venice we drink an “ombra” (a glass of wine) in “bacari” or “enoteci” with “cicheti” – small appetizers made with fish or cold meat on bread. We drink Prosecco to indulge ourselves in a little mystery and romance, and to celebrate the small pleasures of everyday life.

Prosecco is a way of life. No self-respecting Venetians, Romans or Fiorentini would go out for dinner without first having a glass of Prosecco!
